So . . . it's time once again to make those New Year's resolutions lists . . . all the ways to live better, eat better, exercise regularly, and/or write a better novel. Making the resolution is the easy part. Keeping them is the hard part. Resolutions to improve all the things about ourselves we don't like, promises that are forgotten before Spring rolls around.
I personally don't want to dwell on my failures from 2012 and there were quite a few. I want to focus instead on what lies ahead, on my latest novel in progress, on showing my wonderful wife how much more I care about her, on nurturing family bonds, and being more supportive of fellow authors.
I wish everyone of us, no matter who we are, where we live and no matter what our religious beliefs, a safe and prosperous 2013. Happy New Year, everyone.
